:: Monday, May 22, 2006 :: Dumb fucking luck :: And this from the "massively obscure and going to make sense to maybe one person if I'm lucky" corner ...:: Sunday, April 02, 2006 :: Away From The Sun :: Last night Claire & I went to see 3 Doors Down at the ABC in Glasgow and it was all kinds of awesome. It was the first gig I've been to since I went crazy, and I was a little apprehensive to be honest, but I needn't have worried - I sang along, I moshed, and I even threw up the horns. I have a sneaking suspicion that Claire may have taken some photos of me doing these things, but I don't even care - it was that much fun.:: Sunday, March 26, 2006 :: Who me Officer Krupkey? :: Yesterday the O-Dawg, the K-dizzle and I went to see an amateur production of West Side Story at the King's theatre. Based on the quality of the dancing during the overture I was really quite concerned about how the rest of the production was going to pan out, but was pleasantly surprised by how well things picked up. Both the acting and singer were much stronger across the board, and the leads were by a large all good - with Tony and Anita being especially note worthy.:: Tuesday, January 24, 2006 :: You will believe a man can fly :: On Sunday night the LA Lakers beat the Toronto Raptors by 122 points to 104. Of those 122 points Kobe Bryant scored 81. In the second half Kobe scored 55 points, 14 more than all of the Raptors put together. To add a little more context, on the same night the Washington Wizards scored 82 points. That's right - the entire team of the Wizards only scored 1 more point than Kobe did on his own ...:: Sunday, July 10, 2005 :: Please don't take this as rejection :: Last year was, by and large, a really good year for films. Not only did we have top quality blockbusters like Spider-Man II & Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban but we also had some fine off-beat films like Garden State & Before Sunset. This year whilst we've had plenty of the former we've had rather less of the latter. I was thus heartened this morning to come across the trailer for Elizabethtown which seems to fit the bill quite nicely ...:: Monday, June 06, 2005 :: Whiskey Tango Foxtrot? :: I just happened to be idly checking the usage logs for my site this morning, and I discovered that during the first 5 days of June I experienced a vastly inflated amount of traffic - during the entirety of May my total data transfer came to around 30Mb, whereas I'm already at 200Mb for June. Strange things are most definitely afoot at the Circle K ...:: Wednesday, May 25, 2005 :: Stevie G is my hero :: Champions of Europe sir? That'll do nicely.
